The Carlson High School robotics team, 6528 Terror Bytes, hailing from Gibraltar, Michigan, is a dynamic force in the world of FIRST Robotics. Comprising of dedicated students, this exceptional group operates seamlessly across four specialized teams - build/electrical, coding, marketing/media, and strategy. Their collaborative spirit is encapsulated in their rallying hashtag, #WeRollAsOne. The Terror Bytes are not just engineers and artists; they are an awe-inspiring, hardworking, and committed community striving to construct the most innovative robots. Fueled by gracious professionalism, they exemplify excellence in both design and teamwork. Beyond their own pursuits, the team actively supports FTC robotics at Shumate Middle School (12379 Rockwood Rancor, 12459 Gibraltar Jedi, and 15446 Brownstown Bounty Hunters) and FLL robotics at Frank E. Weiss Elementary, showcasing their dedication to nurturing the next generation of innovators within the Gibraltar School District.

Mission: The Gibraltar School District learning community prides itself in #GettingScienceDone! We learn science by doing science. The mission is simple, our coaches/mentors strive to provide our students with the best robotics experience possible. Our students work collectively in small teams utilizing the engineering process to create the best robots possible.  All team members will engage in gracious professionalism at all team practices and events.

Vision: Ignite a passion for STEM within our community by fostering innovation, teamwork, and leadership, empowering every student to excel in robotics and beyond. We strive to build a culture of inclusivity, inspire lifelong learning, and contribute positively to the future of technology through collaboration, creativity, and dedication.

#WeRollAsOne: The hashtag #WeRollAsOne represents the spirit of unity and collaboration that defines the Marauder Robotics (FLL, FTC, and FRC) community. It reflects how team members, mentors, and supporters work together seamlessly, like the gears in a machine, to achieve shared goals. It signifies the collective effort to innovate, solve challenges, and support one another, both on and off the competition field.

For FRC 6528 Terror Bytes, #WeRollAsOne emphasizes that success is not just about individual achievements but about the strength of the team as a whole. It highlights inclusivity, teamwork, and the idea that everyone’s contributions matter, rolling forward together toward excellence and inspiration in STEM.
